  12. Membership is free and is open to anyone interested in promoting science knowledge, subject to approval. Members will receive meeting notices, can attend and speak at general meetings, and can vote, as outlined in the Bylawes. Go to http://www.casciencenet.ca/ for the online membership form.

  1. Note that in participating in the activities of the Central Alberta Science Network, you will be acting independently, and not as the servant, employee, or agent of the Central Alberta Science Network. As a volunteer you are expected to behave in an ethical manner while taking part in activities of Central Alberta Science Network. You must also ensure that the teacher remains with the class during your entire scheduled activity. A police security clearance may be required.

  4. Volunteers will be offered presentation skills training, stressing hands-on learning. As school policies may not cover visitors, volunteers should have their own insurance (auto, health).
