Our commitment to Privacy:

Central Alberta Science Network (CASN) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners and programs participants, and will manage the confidentiality of their personal information with care.

Information collection:

With your consent, CASN may collect personal information from you over the telephone, internet, mail, fax or other electronic media or in person.  This information may include name, contact information, program interests, special requests, and evaluations.  No names of individuals or corporations shall be published without prior consent of an authorized person.  Anonymous donors shall be acknowledged accordingly.

How information is used:

  • To create a volunteer database matching kills and jobs.
  • To be able to communicate with you.
  • To inform you about the CASN activities.
  • To create awareness of CASN programs that might be of interest to you.
  • To comply with legal and insurance requirements.
  • To react to an emergency situation.

Information may also be used to summarized and used for planning and reporting purposes.  We do not rent, sell, or trade our mailing list and other personal data.

All photos which are taken by Central Alberta Science Network Society and intended for production or advertisement purposes will first have written confirmation of the person(s) in the photograph before use.  All other photos not intended for production or advertisement purposed are not subject to written confirmation.
